Snake Gourd Sabji

Snake Gourd Sabji/ Padavalkayi Palya
Side Dish

Ingredients:
1 Snake Gourd medium sized diced
1- 2 Onion chopped
3 - 4 Green Chillies chopped
1 Tomato chopped
1 spoon Coriander leaves chopped
2- 3 spoons Oil
1 spoon Mustard seeds
1 - 2 spoon Chana Dal
1 spoon Masala powder
1 spoon Coconut grated (optional)
1 spoon Roasted Gram powder
Salt

Method:
Scoop the seeds and cut snake gourd into small dices.
In a pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, chana dal, onion, green chillies, tomato and saute well.
Add snake gourd, masala powder  and cook for 10 mins on a medium flame.
Lastly add 1/2 cup water, salt, coconut, coriander leaves and roasted gram flour, mix well and cook for 5 - 10 mins.
Snake Gourd sabzi is ready
Serve it with chapathi or dosa.

Note
You can grind coconut, roasted gram powder and tomato into a fine paste and add to the sabzi.
I have shared adding fine paste in my video.
